This 7-hour tour includes visit to the both major suburb sightseeings of St.Petersburg, summer ex-residences of Russian court-Pushkin and Peterhof. Tour to the museum-reserve Peterfof — is an excursion to the museum of 150 fountains. The biggest fountain in Peterhof is Samson Fountain, it shoots a 18-metre-high vertical jet of water.
Tour to the state museum "Catherin's Palace" located in the town Pushkin (former "Tsarskoye Selo" - "The Royal Village"). The palace is the most beautiful summer place of the Russian tsars of the Romanovs' house, where you can see the famous "Amber Room".

Day 1 | Lunch, Tour to the museum-reserve Peterhof— is an excursion to the museum of 150 fountains. The biggest fountain in Peterhof is Samson Fountain, it shoots a 18-metre-high vertical jet of water. All the fountains in Peterhof operate without use of pumps, the architects of this museum used natural pressure of water collected into the system of canals and ponds.
Tour to the museum Peterhof (Petrodvoretz) gives an opportunity to see not only fountains of so-called Lower Gardens ("Nizhnii Sad") and the museum "Grand Palace". On the territory of the Peterhof museum-reserve there are more than 15 different museums, representing the atmosphere of life of Russian tsars of Romanovs' dynasty. |
