The hotel Pulkovskaya was opened in May, 1981 The construction of the hotel was carried out by three Finnish companies who had won the tender: Polar Construction Company, Haka Construction Cooperative and Lemminkainen Oy (Gruppa Polar) with the support of American company American Tower Group+ The hotel was built under Souzvneshtorg order and after its constraction joined Intourist system. The hotel has got a congress-hall with 600 seats.
